Tomoki Yoshihisa
義久智樹
Professional info
He received his Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctor's degrees from Osaka University, Osaka, Japan, in 2002, 2003, 2005, respectively. Since 2005 to 2007, he was a research associate at Kyoto University. In January 2008, he joined the Cybermedia Center, Osaka University as an assistant professor and in March 2009, he became an associate professor. From April 2008 to August 2008, he was a visiting researcher at University of California, Irvine. His main research interests include stream data distribution and video-on-demand. He has made significant technical contributions in the research area of stream data distribution and has led some research projects (SCOPE, etc.) of Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, Japan. He has served as a vice chair of a technical committee of the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE) and as organizers of some other research groups. His research achievements have been published in over 100 research publications including top-tier international transactions and conference/workshop proceedings (IEEE BigData, IEEE Globecom, etc.)
